Farewell’s Virtual Death Doula Training:

Preparing to Apply

The Virtual Death Doula Training through Farewell is a deep, relationship-centered curriculum for those who feel called to serve with steadiness, discernment, and skill. Though we gather online, this work is anything but distant. Presence, practice, and human connection remain at the heart of the journey. I’m grateful you’ve arrived here; this work is asking for you.

Before applying, three foundations must be in place:

A foundation of learning.
You have completed the Farewell Education Death Doula 101 mini-course and bring with you the essential understanding required to engage in this next level of study.

A foundation of lived service.
You are involved in end-of-life–related service within your own community (through volunteering, training, or professional proximity) so the teachings can be woven into real experience, not held only in theory.

A foundation of connection.
If we have not yet met, you’ve scheduled a Meet Jade session so we can spend time together virtually, listening for alignment and clarity about whether this path is right for you now.

When these foundations are set, you are welcome to submit your application. Enrollment is intentionally limited and selections are made with care, for your growth, for my capacity, and for those you will one day serve. If this is not the right container, I will support you in finding one where your work can truly take root.
